This UI design allowed the user to customize both the look & feel and content on the device. These personalized UI configurations could be saved and later recalled. For example, the user could save one layout for 'work' and another for 'home'.

The HTC Touch Diamond™ featured a unique touch-based 3D user interface called TouchFLO 3D. This interface allowed users to interact directly with the content on their device, and view information in visually rich, animated presentations.
