The Bourne Supremacy — Movie Website

The creative approach to this site was to develop an "interactive trailer" that allowed the user to virtually explore diifferent scenes from the film. At specific points in the linear narrative of the trailer, the scene would transition into an interactive 3D space. The user could then pan around, and zoom into certain areas of the scene.

This approach created a very immersive experience, that provied the user with hints to the films story line. This concept led to an information structure that separated the "Traditional Movie Info" from the interactive trailer experience. This allowed quick and easy access to information elements such as synopsis, cast and crew bios, etc., and at the same time didn't disrupt the immersive effect of the interactive trailer.

The 3D content development phase of this project involved modeling scenes from scratch based on production photography. Cutom lighting schemes were then created for each scene. The texturing process involved extracting usable texture reference from production stills in order to maintain the visual continuity with the film, and create a more realistic and immersive environment.
